Hoku Tozai Taikai 2024

Hoku Tozai Taikai is a Goodwill competition where two large teams meets across the Baltic Sea.

Fighters of all levels will meet in Shiai, 7 dan sensei, national team members, juniors and beginners.

To get the schedule together we have made some adjustments.

We want everyone to have at least 5 matches over the weekend. Therefore, in groups where there are too few participants on one side, participants from one team can meet their teem mates. These participants are written in Italic. However, the outcome of these matches, are not added to the total score.
Also, in case of the groups Children and Youth they will do the same rounds both days to maximize number of matches for them.

There is a rustic accommodation @10€/night (Google Maps). You need to bring your own sleeping equipment (Sleeping bag, cushion etc)

Saturday night party will be held at Panimoravintola Koulu starting at 20:00

In the spirit of the event the visiting team joins free of charge while the receiving team will have a low cost.

Depending on where fighters are departing from there may be different arrangements. If there are group plans we’ll link to them below.
