Kibo Dojo 15 years – 希望道場の15周年
Kibo Dojo was founded 15 wonderful years ago, and we want to celebrate this anniversary as much as possible—by inviting guests from near and far and hosting various festive events. This page brings together all planned activities and will be kept up to date.

Events
Sanada Kazuaki Sensei

On 2 June 2012, we had our first international visit when Sanada Sensei (7th dan) visited us for the first time. Since then, he has returned on several occasions and has also been very supportive when our members have visited Japan.
Sanada Sensei is a wholehearted kendo enthusiast who always shares his experience generously with anyone who seeks guidance.
Plan
Sanada Sensei will be with us from 29 May to 3 June. In addition to participating in our regular training sessions, we will also hold a weekend training camp at Gärdeshallen on 30–31 May. Naturally, there will also be social activities outside of kendo.

Yano Hiromitsu Sensei

Yano Hiromitsu, Kyoshi 7th dan, is a Professor at Kochi University in Japan. At the Department of Education, he works in the fields of sports psychology, educational science, and mental training in relation to sport and health.
He served as coach for the Swedish national team at the Kendo World Championships in Taipei in 2006, where the Swedish team reached the quarterfinals.

Plan
Yano Sensei is planned to be in Stockholm from 5 to 18 September (exact dates may very), and will also be bringing several of his students from Kochi University.
